Materials
---------

Fabric
^^^^^^

* 1 m outer fabric (e.g. waxed canvas);
* 1 m lining fabric (e.g. lighter canvas);
* 30 cm leather-like material.

Notions
^^^^^^^

* ? 25 mm webbing;
* ? 50 mm webbing;
* 4 50 mm D-rings;
* 2 25 mm D-rings.

Pattern
-------

The pattern is available in the following formats:

   valentina file where the measurements can be customized;
the latter two formats are based on a finished measurement of 30 cm × 42
cm × 15 cm (width × height × depth) with 1.2 cm left for the zipper.

Instructions
------------

Back preparation
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Cut 6 pieces of 25 mm webbing as wide as the back (including
allowances); starting 11.5 cm from the base put them at one webbing
width of distance from each other over the bottom back piece.

Mark a line in the center, and lines at every 4 cm on each distance, and
sew, backstitching over each piece.

[cut 50 mm webbing for the shoulder straps, baste to the same piece]

[cut 25 mm webbing for the closure, baste to the same piece]

[cut 25 mm webbing for the lower part of the shoulder straps, TBD]

Right sides together, put the top back piece over the bottom back and
sew. Press the allowances up.

Front preparation
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

[attach bit of webbing and D-rings to the front]

Structure
^^^^^^^^^

[sew all sides, flatlining, fell the seam]

[sew the base, also flatlining, fell the seam]
