Drawers ^^^^^^^ Using contact glue attach the back side to the plate, then the two lateral sides and finally the front. Optionally sand the corners to smoothen the joins. Spread PVA on the bookcloth for the sides, put the drawer so that it is centered on the shorter side and wrap the bookcloth all around the drawer, keeping the join as close as possible to one of the back corners. Clip the corners of the bookcloth and let the excess adhere to the bottom and to the inside of the drawer. Spread PVA on the bookcloth for the bottom, put it on the bottom. Cut 5 cm of ribbon, fold it in half, and attach it with contact glue to the middle of the front of the drawer, extending from the edge by 1.25 cm. Spread PVA on the one of the wider side linings, put it in the back of the drawer, starting 2 mm from the top edge and extending on both sides. Repeat for the front of the drawer. Spread PVA on the narrower side linings, put them in the sides of the drawer, starting again 2 mm from the top edge. Spread PVA on the bottom lining, put it in the bottom of the drawer. Assemble the optional divider inserting each piece in the slots of three other pieces. Insert it in the drawer, trimming up to half a mm from the side edges if necessary. Repeat for all other drawers. Structure ^^^^^^^^^ Mark the center line on the bottom plate. Using contact glue, attach two sides to the center of the bottom plate; then the two backs; and finally the two outer sides. For each remaining drawer space, use contact glue to attach a side to a square plate; then the back; and finally the other side. Again with contact glue, attach all drawers spaces on top of the ones already on the base. And one last time with contact glue, attach the top plate to the two top drawer spaces. Optionally sand every place where two cardboard pieces are joined to smoothen it. Spread PVA on the bookcloth pieces for the horizontal separators, glue them in place. Spread PVA on the bookcloth piece for the central vertical column, glue it in place. Spread PVA on the bookcloth piece that wraps around the body, glue it in place leaving the joint on the bottom, and aligning the front at 2 cm from the paper edge; clip the front edge at every separator and glue the front edge towards the inside of the structure; and then clip the corners on the back, and glue the bookcloth flat. Put PVA on the bookcloth piece for the back, glue it in place. See also --------
